WHERE THE NIGHT OPENS
A familiar tower. A different point of view.
FLY TO A NEIGHBORHOOD
ROPPONGI → GINZA
Above the rooftops.
THE SKYLINE IS COMING INTO FOCUS
TOKYO AFTERGLOW / ABOVE TOKYO
Start on the street, rise above the rooftops, cross Tokyo’s skyline, and descend into another neighborhood.
This is a photographic motion prototype built from AI-created street, rooftop and aerial images. The camera movement and transitions suggest a flight; they are not continuous drone footage or a mapped route. Tokyo Tower’s placement in the Roppongi arrival is an artistic composition.
Animated billboards, landmark illumination, rain ripples and photographic light textures bring the city to life. The shared panorama uses a portrait composition with neighborhood zoom points matched to its landmarks. A small calico-cat screen is integrated into the Shinjuku street image, and occasional fireworks light Asakusa’s street-view sky. These effects are artistic animations. The cat screen is part of the still street artwork, inspired by the Shinjuku East Exit Cat and placed within our imagined composition. Sound is off by default; turn it on for soft, synthesized neighborhood ambience, rather than location recordings.
In Shinjuku, take the side streets to Golden Gai: eight photographic views form a fast, imagined street-level detour with a right turn. This sequence is not a walking-directions route. Choose any neighborhood in the bottom navigation, or use your keyboard arrows to visit neighboring stops. Skip a flight at any time, or switch to gentle motion. Your device’s reduced-motion setting is respected.
Four additional cinematic side journeys lead to Omoide Yokocho, SEL OCTAGON TOKYO, Rambling Street and Zouk Tokyo; they are atmospheric interpretations, not geographic directions. Each district has a signature night: Golden Gai in Shinjuku, Tokyo Pub Crawl in Roppongi (Fridays and Saturdays only), karaoke in Shibuya, Hoppy Street in Asakusa, live music in Koenji, and cocktails in Ginza. The journeys use AI-created views and photographic transitions. Hoppy Street is an AI-created imagined visual journey inspired by reference photos. The Roppongi Pub Crawl feature has four cinematic visual chapters, including a night rendering inspired by the real red-brick building, rather than a literal mapped walking route. The photo gallery is NOT turn-by-turn wayfinding; use the event details and Maps for the actual venue entrance. The Pub Crawl has a reversible exit. Use Maps for the actual walk to Propaganda at 3-14-9 Roppongi, 2F. Use the experience links for real venues, events and directions.
