🌦️ Rain usually doesn’t stop the crawl

Tokyo Pub Crawl normally runs in light or ordinary rain. Our bars and clubs are very close to each other in Roppongi, so the walks between venues are short. For unusually severe weather, check your event page for any special update before coming.

Absolutely. Coming alone is one of the most normal ways to join Tokyo Pub Crawl.

Travelers, people new to Tokyo and locals regularly arrive without knowing anyone. The event is structured around meeting people, moving together as a group and giving everyone an easy reason to talk.

You definitely do not need to bring your own group.

Usually the opposite.

Almost everyone is there because they want a social night. Our hosts introduce people, organize activities and help get the room interacting before we start moving between venues.

The beginning of the night is deliberately relaxed so you have time to meet people before the group gets bigger and louder.

Many women join us solo or with just one friend.

One advantage of an organized pub crawl is that you are going out as part of a hosted group instead of figuring out Tokyo nightlife completely by yourself.

Our crew is present throughout the crawl. If at any point you feel uncomfortable, need help, want to leave a venue or simply want to find the group, talk to one of our staff.

Nightlife always involves personal judgment, but we want the event to feel social, welcoming and easy to navigate.

Events run every Friday and Saturday.

The crawl starts at 7:00 PM. Check the current Events page for your exact date and any special event information.

We recommend arriving around 7:00 PM.

The beginning of the night is when people check in, get their wristbands, start meeting each other and hear the night's welcome information.

We normally stay at the first bar until roughly 8:30 PM, but earlier is better if you want the full experience.

Our normal meeting point is Bar Propaganda in Roppongi.

Always check the event page for your date before coming, just in case event information has changed.

Usually, yes.

We stay at the first bar for a while, so arriving after 7:00 PM does not automatically mean you've missed the crawl.

If possible, arrive before about 8:00 PM so you still catch most of the opening part of the night.

If the group has already moved, message us through Instagram or use the contact information on your event page. During a busy event we may not see messages immediately.

Late arrival may mean missing some included shots, activities or giveaways.

Your Tokyo Pub Crawl ticket normally includes:

  • Welcome shots during the crawl
  • Additional shots between selected venues
  • Exclusive pub crawl drink discounts
  • No extra cover charge at crawl venues
  • Entry to the final club
  • Games, activities and contests
  • Tokyo Pub Crawl hosts throughout the night
  • A large international social group to party with

Exact venues and specials can vary by night.

Ticket prices and promotions can vary by date, ticket type and special event.

The easiest way to see the current price is to choose your night on the Events page.

Buying online in advance is normally the best option and also guarantees your place if an event becomes busy.

The idea is to give you more than simply entry to a bar.

Your ticket combines multiple venues, welcome shots, pub crawl drink specials, organized hosts, social activities and final club entry into one night.

It also saves you from trying to choose venues, organize a group and navigate an unfamiliar nightlife area on your own.

Promotions can change, so check the current event listing for the best available ticket.

If you are bringing a large group, celebrating a birthday or organizing a private group, contact us and tell us approximately how many people are coming.

No.

You can come for the social experience without drinking alcohol. There is no requirement to take every shot or drink.

Go at your own pace and drink water throughout the night.

You must be at least 20 years old to drink alcohol in Japan.

Because our crawl includes nightlife venues and a club, bring a physical, valid government-issued photo ID showing your date of birth.

Bring a physical, valid government-issued photo ID showing your date of birth.

The important part is that the ID is the original physical ID. A photo, screenshot or photocopy is not a substitute for the physical ID.

You do not need to dress formally. Smart casual nightlife clothing is the safest choice.

Because we finish at a nightclub, avoid anything that might cause problems at a club entrance, such as extremely casual clothing, beachwear or inappropriate footwear.

Individual clubs control their own entry policies.

We normally still run. Light or ordinary rain is usually not a problem.

Our bars and clubs are very close to each other in Roppongi, so the walks between venues are short and we spend very little time outside.

If unusually severe weather is expected, check the event page for your date before coming. We will post any important change there.

Yes. Tattoos are okay at the bars and clubs we use.

You do not need to cover, hide or conceal your tattoos to join Tokyo Pub Crawl.

A typical crawl visits several nightlife venues before finishing at a club.

We generally spend around 60–80 minutes at each stop, although timing can change depending on the night.

We deliberately don't publish the complete route in advance.

Venues can change from event to event and keeping the next stop a surprise is part of the experience.

The crawl is centered around Roppongi nightlife.

Of course.

You're never required to move with us. If you decide to stay at one of the venues, just tell a Tokyo Pub Crawl crew member so we know you are okay and don't wait for you.

The crawl finishes at a nightclub, and your pub crawl ticket includes entry as part of the event.

Once we're inside, you can normally stay and enjoy the club independently after the organized crawl has finished.

The final venue can vary from event to event.

Tokyo's trains generally stop around midnight and restart early in the morning, but the exact last train depends on your station and route.

If you need to get home by train, check your route before the event and keep an eye on the time.

If you're staying out, the final club gives you somewhere to continue the night until trains begin running again.

See our Tokyo Nightlife Guide for more advice about trains, taxis and navigating Tokyo after dark.

Yes. Pub crawl guests receive special drink deals at participating venues in addition to the included welcome shots.

Specials vary by venue, so look for the Tokyo Pub Crawl menu or ask one of our crew members.

Definitely.

Groups are welcome, but if you're bringing a lot of people, book in advance so we can plan for everyone.

For birthdays, celebrations or larger groups, contact us before the event.

Yes — birthdays are very welcome.

If you're bringing a birthday group, contact us before booking and tell us your date and approximate group size so we can let you know what options are available.

Ticket cancellation and refund conditions can depend on how and where your ticket was purchased.

If you booked through a third-party ticket platform, the cancellation conditions shown on that booking normally apply.

If there's a problem with your booking, contact us and we'll do our best to help.

It's usually a mix of international travelers, people living in Tokyo, expats and locals.

Some people arrive with friends, some as couples and plenty come completely alone.

The common denominator is simple: people are there to meet others and have a fun night out.
